To keep up with the bass two pair of JL Audio XR 6 1/2" and two pair of XR 5 1/4" component coaxials were fiberglassed into pods in the front and rear. A Kicker ZX650.4 provides 170 Watts per speaker! A pair of JL TR 6x9" Triaxials finish off the rear in a molded deck panel with a trunk vent.
Signals are provided by a Kenwood eXcelon KVT-614 Flip-out Media Unit that plays the role of radio, DVD/CD player, USB input, GPS Navigation with external KNA-G510 module and iPod controller. Providing high voltage signal to the amplifier the KVT's RCA outputs are powerful enough to resist noise and provide clarity for listeners.
A high output alternator from Ohio Generator pumps out the current to the amplifiers via 1/0 gauge power and ground wire from Kicker. VMax batteries, 1 in the engine compartment and 3 in the amp rack under the 2500.1, supply a large power reserve for listening while the car is not running. LED lights highlight the amplifiers and wiring and are activated with the Viper alarm remote.
